Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
AEB Services, Inc. wants every homeowner who visits this website to be able to find what they need, whether that is a service, a phone number, or a way to request an estimate. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive tools to get around the web.
Many of the homeowners we work with are seniors, and we know that small type, low contrast, and confusing layouts can make a website harder to use than it needs to be. We treat this site the way we treat your home: if it would not work for us, we do not want to leave it that way for you.
What This Statement Covers
This statement applies to the pages of this website, including our service pages, service area pages, blog posts, project gallery, and the forms you use to reach us. It describes what we aim for, where we know we may fall short, and how you can get the same information or service another way if any part of the site gets in your way.
How We Work to Keep the Site Accessible
We aim to follow widely recognized web accessibility practices as we build and update this site. That is an ongoing effort rather than a finished job, and we review pages as we add new content. Here is what we focus on:
Describing our photos.
Our project photos carry written descriptions of what is actually in each picture, such as the cabinets, trim, flooring, or deck shown, so a screen reader can tell you what a sighted visitor would see in the image.
Clear headings and structure.
Pages are organized with headings in a logical order so you can scan or jump between sections with assistive technology, and so the main points of each page are easy to find without reading every line.
Readable text and working controls.
We aim for text that can be enlarged with your browser's zoom, color contrast that is easy to read, and buttons, links, and forms that can be reached and used with a keyboard as well as a mouse or touchscreen.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of this site may not yet work well for everyone. Content that comes from outside services, such as embedded maps or review listings shown from other platforms, is controlled by those providers and may not meet the same standard as the pages we write ourselves.
If you run into a page, image, form, or feature that you cannot use, we would rather hear about it than have you give up. Let us know what you were trying to do and we will work on a fix, and in the meantime help you get the information or service another way.
Other Ways to Reach Us
You never need to use this website to work with us. You can call (302) 379-0344 to talk through what you need, ask a question about our services, or set up a time for us to come look at your project and give you a quote.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM; and Sunday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You can also write to us at 25505 Guinea Hollow Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966.
Tell Us About a Barrier
If something on this site is hard to use, send a note through our contact form or call (302) 379-0344. It helps to tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, or assistive tool you were using, though any detail you can share is welcome.
We read every message and will get back to you. If the problem is with our own pages, we will work on correcting it. If it is with something we do not control, we will still make sure you get what you came for, whether that is a quote, an answer, or a time on our schedule.
Changes to This Statement
As we add pages and improve the site, we may update this statement to reflect what has changed. The current version will always be posted here. You can return to our home page at any time to find our services, the communities we work in across Sussex County, and the ways to reach us.
